PERSONAL COACHING - FORMAT

I want you to benefit greatly from the time we have together and also during the time in between our calls or meetings. This brief guide is what most of my clients do to maximize the value from our coaching relationship.

Make a list of what you really want in life

Coaching works best when you have clear goals, which are based on your needs and values. If you're not sure what your goals should be, we can discuss them during our sessions.

Rediscover & expand yourself

Working with a strong and successful behavioral coach is a very healthy way to grow. Most clients hire a coach to accomplish several specific goals and much time is invested focusing on these goals. Yet, with coaching, expect to discover new things about yourself as you and the coach work toward achieving your maximum potential. This self-discovery process is natural. Many times you will feel unsure of yourself.that is because you are expanding into the new territory of unrealized potential.

Double your level of willingnes

I will ask you in our coaching relationship to be willing to experiment with fresh approaches and new ideas for your life and business. Most of what I will ask you will be tried and proven by myself and others. Your business is an extension of your life. If your life is out of balance, so will your business. The purpose of your business is to support your life.not to run it and control it. The success of your coaching relationship will depend mainly on your willingness to move forward in all areas of your life.

Come to the coaching call or meeting with a prepared agenda

We have 60 to 90 minutes together and you need to have a written list of topics for us to discuss. The following topics can be suggestions to help you develop your list:

Successes you have had during the monthReport on homework or accomplishments
Problems you faced and solutionsAdvice regarding an opportunity you face
What you are currently working onSkills you want to develop or enhance
New insights you have gainedStrategies you wish to develop for your work
Behavioral and attitudes discussions you or others - and etc.

Enjoy your session

We have work to do, but enjoy the session with me. After a few sessions, you may find that we take a little time to catch up on those parts of your life that mean a lot to you and you may want to share something personal and confidential. You may find we even laugh a lot during the session, at life, how you've grown or seen personal change, and how things happen. Feel free to set the tone of the call to accomplish what you need.

I believe in your ability to achieve and or exceed your potential

Just as you chose me as your coach/confident I choose you as my client. I chose you because after meeting you I believed in you and your dreams and desire to assist you in accomplishing them. As you go forward, know that I am a phone call or an e-mail away, to encourage, laugh together and sometimes just to listen. Your personal and professional life is important to me.

Keep yourself well between our sessions

Achieving your maximum potential requires energy and growth. Make sure you take extra care of yourself as you go forward and begin to make changes in your life. So often, I see people who are unwilling to take time for themselves. Remember.if you are not healthy.your business will not be either. Sometimes, you need to just take a day off and take time for you. You deserve it.

Be on time for your call.do your homework.

This is not grade school where I assign you homework and you are forced to bring it back. These are tasks or actions that you commit, during our call, to do. When you commit to do them, then I make a note to ask you the following session. The homework is designed to assist you in reaching your goals. Personal accountability applies to both of us. Also make sure you make note of your call time. The least of my desires is to have to bill you for a call you forgot to make. When your appt. approaches, I will be on time, my office or yours. Be ready to give my time and attention to only you. It may be necessary to reschedule because something unexpected comes up, let's give each other at least a 24 hour lead time. Let's work together to achieve your objectives. Everything that takes place here is confidential.
